Q: Where is your office located?

A: Our office is located at 1200 North Jefferson Street. Click here for driving directions.

 

Q: What are your office hours?

A: We are open from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday.

 

Q: How do I make an appointment as a new patient?

A: We accept referrals from other physicians only. Please contact your primary care physician if you would like to schedule an appointment.

 

Q: What do I need to bring to my first appointment?

A: Please bring all of your medications, any available health records, your insurance information, and completed questionnaires if available (found here).

 

Q: Do your physicians see patients in the hospital?

A: Yes, we make daily rounds at both local hospitals.

 

Q: How can I contact a doctor after hours or on the weekend?

A: Just call the office (229) 888-3970 and follow the telephone prompts.

 

Q: How can my prescriptions be refilled?

A: Request refills from your pharmacy. It is our office policy not to call in/refill prescriptions for sleeping pills or pain medications on nights or weekends. These refills need to be requested during regular office hours.
 

Q: How do I find out if you accept my insurance?

A: Call your insurance provider.

 

Q: What if I get sick on the weekends?

A: Call our office (229) 888-3970 and the answering service will direct your call.

 

Q: What happens if I can't keep a scheduled appointment?

A: Please contact our office to inform us of your cancellation. If you miss an appointment please call as soon as possible in order to reschedule.

 

Q: Does your office have Physicians Assistants on staff?

A: Yes, we have two fully certified physicians assistants on staff that round at all of our clinics and work closely with our doctors to provide you with comprehensive kidney care.

 

Q: How can I get my laboratory work completed?

A: We ask that you schedule your appointments for lab work several days prior to your scheduled office visit. Our laboratory is conveniently located on the office premises and is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 - 11:00 A.M. and 1:00 - 3:00 P.M.
